Rustam Shakirov

Founder of Shine, head organizer

Since I began participating in bachata festivals and competitions in 2014, I immediately recognized the significant potential for developing this form of leisure in Russia. Traveling to various cities and countries, I accumulated knowledge and experience that I can now offer to the entire Russian-speaking dance community and beyond.

The core mission of our work is:
  • To make guests happier through parties, competitions, and master classes.
  • To inspire guests to continue dancing and developing their skills.
  • To promote the concept of a refined leisure experience, where the venue, program, guests, and dress code all harmoniously complement each other.
  • To popularize large-scale dance events in Russia and neighboring countries.
  • To build a strong professional community that will grow and expand through collaborative efforts.
  • To position the Russian-speaking dance industry as a world leader.
  • To develop every specialist (instructor, DJ, photographer, videographer, musician) into a sought-after top-tier artist.
